Our Mission

After the murder investigations of Col. Philip Shue, USAF, Col. Michael Stahlman, USMC, and Army Spc. Richard Davis, it became clear the military justice system direly needed change. Author Cilla McCain, and military widows, Tracy Shue and Kimberly Stahlman, created Military Families for Justice (MFFJ) with the goal of giving bereaved military families’ rights to a voice in the legal process for death investigations of their deceased loved ones. Passage of a Bill of Rights for Bereaved Military Families will accomplish long overdue transparency, accountability and justice for countless military families.

Please take a moment to sign and share the petition calling for sponsorship of a Bill of Rights for Bereaved Military Families. If enacted, it will go a long way to make sure crimes and suicides are reported accurately.

River City Charlie Podcast - The Voice of Military Families for Justice

Why the name River City Charlie?

"River City Charlie" is code for bloodshed on a military installation; shut down communication.

Why a whiskey drinking fox mascot?

If you'll notice, he's a fox, with a rose in its teeth (as used in a tango) and he's holding a glass of whiskey. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot is military code for WTF?
