Family searches for answers after first responders find Army Drill Sgt. shot dead in car

During the early morning hours of New Year's Day, first responders went to what they thought was a car crash along I-10 near West Avenue, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Instead, a team of firefighters discovered a shooting victim.
