The Trial of Eddie Ray Routh

As the trial of Eddie Routh continues, a lot of speculation is swirling around the murder of American Sniper Chris Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield. Just what constitutes insanity? Well, according to the law sanity is usually determined by whether or not the accused knows right from wrong. But when it comes to our veteran's is it really that simple? It's reported that Routh never saw combat so why did the military diagnose him with PTSD? The answer to this question is an important one. Was he taking an array of prescription drugs? Right before he was killed, Chris Kyle himself stated in a text message that Routh "was straight-up nuts." The outcome of this case could have far-reaching implications for military justice and mental health care.

There are many murders in the military. We at MFFJ have seen the truth behind these murders glossed over or outright covered up. But most of these murders garner little if any, media attention. It is the hope of MFFJ that the entire truth will prevail in the trial of Eddie Ray Routh.
