Book Recommendation: It's All Right, I'm Only Crying

Kathleen Christison has written a beautiful memoir about her experience with the loss of her spouse. Her work is hearttrendingly sad but will be helpful to the bereaved, especially those who have experience trauma or an uncertain diagnosis that complicates their mourning. Her memoir is an illuminating meditation on living with grief. She shows us that grieving is a complex and changing process, not simply a matter of time, working through stages, and 'moving on.' Her message is both sobering and hopeful. Grief does not end, but it changes, and changes us in ways that give us strength."Military Families for Justice" recommends this book for our Bereaved Military Spouses.
